About Random Number

Random Number Generator picks random whole numbers between a minimum and maximum you set, with both ends included. Generate a single number or a list at once, and turn on No Duplicates to get unique numbers, like drawing tickets from a hat. Quick presets cover a dice roll (1-6), a 4-digit PIN (1000-9999), a lottery draw of 6 numbers from 1-45, and ranges of 1 to 10 and 1 to 100. Your last 10 results stay in a history list while the page is open, and any result can be copied with a click.

How to use

  1. Tap a Quick Preset like Dice (1-6), 4-Digit PIN, or Lotto (1-45), or set Min and Max yourself.
  2. Set Count for how many numbers to draw, and tick No Duplicates (Unique) to avoid repeats.
  3. Press GENERATE, or Enter in any field, to draw your numbers; they appear in the result area above the button.
  4. Click Copy Result to copy them, or the Copy button on any row in Recent History to copy an earlier draw. Changing the range or options clears the current result.

Limitations & notes

  • Numbers come from Math.random, which is not cryptographically secure; do not use them for passwords, security PINs, or draws that must be provably fair.
  • Only whole numbers are generated: a decimal Min is rounded up and a decimal Max is rounded down. If Min or Max is left empty, GENERATE shows an error instead of drawing.
  • With No Duplicates on, the range can hold at most 100,000 numbers and Count cannot exceed the range size.
  • Count is capped at 100 numbers per draw; a larger typed value is reduced to 100.

FAQ

Are the minimum and maximum included?
Yes. Both ends of the range are inclusive, so 1 to 6 can return any of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6. Decimal limits are rounded inward to whole numbers.
How do I generate random numbers without repeats?
Tick No Duplicates (Unique) before generating. Each number is drawn from the remaining pool so no value appears twice; the count cannot exceed the size of the range, and unique mode supports ranges of up to 100,000 numbers.
How do I pick random lottery numbers?
Click the Lotto (1-45) preset to draw 6 unique numbers from 1 to 45. For other lotteries, set your own range and count with No Duplicates on, for example 1 to 69 with a count of 5.
Is this random number generator truly random?
It uses the browser's Math.random, a pseudorandom generator that is fine for games, raffles, and everyday picks. It is not cryptographically secure, so do not use it for passwords, encryption keys, or regulated drawings.
